Selection process
The selection process for ELEVATE Aspire 2026 involves a structured evaluation across several stages, culminating in a tiered grant allocation. The initial steps include an online application submission, followed by a data sufficiency and eligibility screening conducted by the Program Management Unit (PMU).
Unlike other ELEVATE calls, Aspire applicants proceed directly to the Multi-City Pitching round. During this phase, applications are assessed out of a total of 100 marks across five distinct parameters:
- Novelty/Innovation: 30 marks
- Strength of Business Model: 30 marks
- Potential Socio-economic Impact: 20 marks
- Team Strength: 10 marks
- Budgetary Allocation: 10 marks
Each parameter is independently scored by a jury panel, whose composition varies per round to ensure relevant domain expertise. To advance to the Grand Finale, startups must achieve a minimum score of 60 marks in the Multi-City Pitching round. The final ranking and the specific tiered grant amount are determined by the cumulative scores obtained in these rounds.
