Yes, the funding is provided through equity or equity-linked instruments like CCPS. It is not a grant or loan – the program takes a stake in your startup.

Preference is given to startups that have not previously received seed funding under other central or state government schemes.

Any technology-driven, innovative startup with a clear prototype/MVP, at least 51% Indian promoter equity, and not a subsidiary of an MNC/foreign company. Focus areas include deeptech, AI, and health among others.
