Up to 20 startups are taken into the incubation programme. Among them, up to 10 are later chosen for the grant based on merit and progress.

How long is the incubation period?

The incubation lasts a minimum of 6 months. After admission, startups can access incubation benefits for up to 3 years.

Can I use the grant to pay rent or salaries?

No. The grant cannot be used for rent, construction, repaying loans, salary to the grantee or relatives, or for funding research or internships. It must directly advance the product.

If I have availed NIDHI PRAYAS or a similar grant earlier, can I apply?

Yes, you may apply. The incubation centre will decide on eligibility on a case-by-case basis.
