CaseVerse 2.0 is the flagship national-level case competition organized by the Analytics and Consulting Club (AnC) at NIT Rourkela, in partnership with Finshots as Title Sponsor and Unstop as Platform Partner. This competition brings together the brightest minds across India to tackle real-world business challenges using strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and innovative problem-solving.
Designed for Undergraduate and Postgraduate students from any discipline, the competition allows teams of 1–4 members. Each participant may belong to only one team. Teams can be inter-college, cross-specialization, and include members from different years of study.
The competition progresses through three rounds. Round 1 is an online quiz elimination on 6th July 2026, consisting of 25 multiple-choice questions to be answered in 30 minutes. The quiz covers basic finance, macroeconomics, current business affairs, and logical problem-solving. Marking: +3 for correct answers, –1 for incorrect. Successful teams move to Round 2, where they receive a case study on 8th July and must submit an 8–10 page analysis deck by 14th July. Judging criteria include depth of analysis, feasibility, clarity, and innovation. The top 10 teams from this round advance to the final round.
Round 3 is a virtual final presentation on 26th July 2026. Each team gets 6 minutes to present followed by 4 minutes of Q&A. Evaluation is based on problem understanding, originality of the solution, clarity of presentation, and responses during Q&A.
