Applicants must be developing translation-based technologies that demonstrate clear potential for commercialization. The innovations should be product-oriented, rather than service-based, and possess novelty with the capacity for intellectual property generation. A crucial requirement is that the technology must be at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 4 or above. Furthermore, applicants need to present a well-defined business model, a robust commercialization strategy, and a clear market roadmap. The team behind the innovation must also possess strong technical and business capabilities. The program focuses on industries such as biotechnology, bioengineering, healthcare, drugs, medical devices, diagnostics, industrial biotechnology, and agriculture.
