Selection process
Brainwave 2026 runs as a multi-round competition rather than a single pitch day.
- Track release: eight innovation tracks are published in two batches — the first four on 20 July 2026, the remaining four on 30 July 2026. Teams either pick an official problem statement or enter the Open Innovation Track.
- Submission round: ahead of it, the organisers publish the official PPT format and the rules for submitting an entry. Only original work is accepted.
- Evaluation rounds: entries are assessed across multiple rounds of judging.
- Mentoring: expert mentors work with teams during the competition.
- Grand Finale: shortlisted teams present in person at the on-site finale.
The organising committee and the jury have the final say on all decisions.
