Bihar Startup Policy 2022 Seed Grant for Validation-Stage Startups — Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Bihar Startup Policy 2022 Seed Grant, startups must meet several key criteria:

• The startup must be certified under the Bihar Startup Policy, ensuring it aligns with the state's innovation and economic development goals.
• Applicants must be at the validation stage, possessing a functional prototype or a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) ready for testing and initial market feedback.
• The startup must be registered within the state of Bihar to promote local economic development and strengthen the state's entrepreneurial ecosystem.
• The product or service offered must be innovation-led, focusing on novel solutions or disruptive technologies with significant potential for impact and scalability.
• Startups led by women, Schedule Caste (SC), or Schedule Tribe (ST) entrepreneurs are eligible for an additional 5% support.
• Startups led by differently-abled founders are eligible for an additional 15% support, promoting an equitable startup ecosystem.

Bihar Startup Policy 2022 Seed Grant for Validation-Stage Startups is open to startups at the product and revenue stage. The programme is targeted at startups registered in Bihar. Applicants must hold DPIIT (Startup India) recognition.
