Who can apply

To be eligible for the Bharat Startup Grand Challenge 2026, applicants must meet several key criteria:

  • The applicant must be a startup registered and operating in India.
  • The startup should be actively developing solutions that align with one of the twelve official BSGC 2026 challenge statements.
  • Startups at various development stages are welcome, including those at the idea, prototype, Minimum Viable Product (MVP), or early revenue stage.
  • The proposed solution must address a real-world, high-impact problem that is relevant to India’s growth and development.
  • Applicants must demonstrate innovation, scalability, and the potential for measurable impact through their solution.
  • Founders are required to be willing to actively engage with mentors, industry experts, and ecosystem partners throughout the duration of the program.
  • Eligible entity types include Private Limited Companies, Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs), and Partnerships.

Bharat Startup Grand Challenge (BSGC) 2026 is open to startups at the idea, product and revenue stage working in agri food rural, health pharma biotech, climate energy ev and fintech. It is open to startups registered anywhere in India. Applicants should be registered as private limited, llp and partnership.
