Bharat Inclusion Initiative by IIMA Ventures — Eligibility Criteria

BII welcomes startups building technology solutions in fintech, livelihoods, or skilling for low-income segments in India. Preferred stages include prototype, MVP, and early traction; exceptional pre-incorporation ideas are also considered. A portion of customers or beneficiaries must come from lower-income groups, typically earning under ₹50,000 per month. You need not be a registered firm to apply, but you must register in India before selection is confirmed. The program is open nationwide, and relocation to Ahmedabad is not required. Prior participation in accelerators is allowed but must be disclosed.

Bharat Inclusion Initiative by IIMA Ventures is open to startups at the idea, product and revenue stage working in fintech and edtech social impact. It is open to startups registered anywhere in India. Applicants should be registered as private limited, llp and partnership.
