Selection process
The AWE Tech Innovation Challenge uses a rigorous multi-stage selection process. First, all applications are reviewed and scored by the AWE investment team based on innovation, market potential, team strength, and impact potential. From this, the Top 20 startups are invited to pitch to the AWE Leadership team. The Top 10 from that round then present to a panel of industry experts. Finally, the Top 5 startups present to the Investment Committee, which makes the final funding decisions. After selection, AWE Funds conducts due diligence before finalising investment terms.
