How much funding is offered under the AP Build Grant?
Selected teams receive a grant of between ₹3 lakh and ₹5 lakh. This is equity-free funding meant to support prototype development.

Can startups from outside Andhra Pradesh apply?

What stages of ventures are eligible?
Ventures at the idea, prototype, or MVP stage are eligible. You should be past pure ideation and have a defined operational bottleneck that an AI prototype can address.
Which sectors are focused on?
The program welcomes applications across ten sectors: AI, HealthTech, Agritech, ClimateTech, DeepTech, Manufacturing, Mobility, EdTech, Drones, and Rural Innovation. However, a clear AI use-case is required.
Does RTIH take equity in exchange for the grant?
No. The grant is entirely equity-free; RTIH does not take any equity stake in your startup.
What is the format and duration of the sprint?
The sprint runs for four weeks in a hybrid format. You will participate in virtual sessions and also attend in-person sessions at RTIH's central hub in Amaravati or at regional spoke centres in Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, Tirupati, or Anantapur.
Is DPIIT or MSME registration required?
No, DPIIT registration is not required, and MSME registration is also not mandatory. Both are welcome but not prerequisite conditions.
How do I apply?
You can apply by completing the Google Form linked on the program page. You'll need to provide founder details, team size, sector, current stage, and describe the operational bottleneck you want to solve with AI.
