How to Apply for Global Youth Innovation Challenge 2026 — ₹90,000 Prize for Ocean Ideas

Entry to the challenge is a written proposal submitted online, and it is the quality of that proposal that decides who wins.

• Applications are filed through the NAAEE Submittable portal and must be in before 31 May 2026 at 11:59 PM U.S. Eastern Time.
• Proposals are assessed on how clearly they explain the marine issue being tackled, the research and evidence behind the idea, how innovative the solution is, how practical it is to implement, and whether the outcomes can be measured.
• Three winners then receive ₹90,000 (about USD 1,000) each, along with an invitation to Taiwan for the award ceremony and to present at an international forum.
